Description

Hosta 'June'

Superb swirling greys, greens and yellows make this Hosta sheek, stylish and right at home in formal or informal arrangements. In the sun, the leaves are more yellow, in the shade more blue-grey.

Invaluable for the shady garden, giving interest, structure and colour from spring until autumn.

Great In Your Garden...

Hostas are famous for their shade tolerance, but most of them are also fine in full sun as long as the soil is moist all the time. They are tough plants that grow on the coast and polluted urban sites.

Did You Know...

'June' is a sport of 'Halcyon', and is named after the mother of the nursery worker who spotted it.

Cultivation Instructions

Hostas like rich, well-drained but moist soil in shaded/semi-shaded position. Add compost when planting and keep well watered until established and during dry spells.

In spring, apply general purpose fertiliser and mulch well. Remove dead flower heads. Protect from slugs and snails. Divide large clumps from autumn-early spring.
